Dr. Romanowsky oversees the Department of Evangelization. He joined the team in July 2014, after serving as Associate Director of Faith Formation in the Diocese of Rockville Centre since 2006.

A cradle Catholic from Nova Scotia, Canada, he drifted away from the Catholic faith as a teenager, but experienced a “reversion” and returned to the Church in his mid-20s. He served in a lay missionary community, the Madonna House Lay Apostolate for several years, and then went on to receive an MA in Theology from the Dominican House of Studies and a Ph.D. in Historical Theology at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He currently resides with his family near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
